$275M General Fund revenue in 2025

Since 2020, the general fund revenues have increased from $155 million a year to $275 million a year…and City Hall still says it’s not enough!!

City employees who helped campaign for voters to adopt the 2020 increase then expected the city to reward them for it…and the city did.

New contracts with the employee unions have increased our annual costs by over $21 million, consuming 1/3 of the increased revenue. This is increased pay for existing employees, NOT new services being provided by new employees.

The biggest increases were given with the city manager’s discretionary authority to department heads.
